Environmental Factors Responsible for Addictions

Alcoholism is a curse on the society. The increasing use of harmful alcohol is increasing with every passing day and it seems difficult to stop the use. Many factors are responsible for excess alcohol intake, let’s discuss few of them here:

Family and Home:
Family is the first school for any living person. Children usually get disturbed if their parents fight constantly at any point of time. Parents with criminal background also influence the minds of young people and they find shelter in taking drugs. Some important members of families allow drugs at home thus, encouraging young minds to try drugs.

Peer and School:
Truth is that peers at school influence young people to try drinking and drugs. Children in order to be friendly with elders at school start taking drugs which harm their future lives. Excess alcohol intake may further cause poor academic skills and sports abilities. Furthermore, children are constantly at risk of developing many kinds of physical problems as well.

Early Use:
It is important to know at what age a person has started his habit of drinking or taking drugs. As the research studies show that earlier a person begins to use drugs the more likely they are to progress to more serious abuse.
